MAPEN is a construction company active throughout Northern Italy. Through teamwork and absolute compliance with prevention and safety regulations, it is able to carry out any intervention in the construction sector.

Goal

The redesign goal was to create a new image for the brand, making it unique and improving the perception of reliability, stability and safety, while maintaining the “worker” figure as the center of the “Mapen” project.

Problem

The old logo depicts a construction worker represented descriptively through an illustration, giving the brand a generic image. The logo is therefore not easily identifiable and weakly evokes the values ​​of the brand. Given the amount of details, reading can be difficult if reproduced in small sizes.

Solution

“The worker” was represented in a conceptual way, making him more iconic, through the combination of the two main elements: the hard hat and the shovel blade. These elements characterize some of the main concepts of the brand, such as safety and manual work, which by merging create a single entity.
